Finnova has been involved in more than 300 LIFE projects. Basically, LIFE has three scopes:
A) Nature (ecology, biodiversity)
B) Environment (circular economy, eco-innovation-efficiency in the use of resources, information and governance)
C) Climate change (mitigation, adaptation, governance).
The kind of projects Finnova works in are Traditional projects, though we are highly interested in those integrated, in case the opportunity arises.
When we present the LIFE programme, the related funding instruments are:
* Natural capital Financing facility (NCFF): new financing instrument through loans or equitative investments.
* Private financing for Energy Efficiency instruments (PF4EE): new financing instrument that provides loans for investments in projects of energetic efficiency prioritized by the Energetic Efficiency National Action Plan.
One of the projects of LIFE in which Finnova is currently involved is HTWT, a European project LIFE 10 ENV/ES/000470 HIGH TECHNOLOGY WASTE TREATMENT (HTWT), of integral management of LCD screens, and useless plasms and solar photovoltaic panels, for the Consellería d’infraestructures Territori i Medi Ambient ( Valencian Region Governement)
