Juan Manuel Revuelta, with more than 20 years of experience in Brussels, has an extensive knowledge of European projects in the field of sustainability: Life + programs, Eco-innovation, Energy Entelligent for Europe.

José Manuel Requena

INTERREG Head of Sector


PhD in History of Art at the University of Seville; Degree in Geography and History at the University of Seville; Master Degree in European Politics at the University Libre de Bruxelles and Master in Prevention of labour risks; Degree in Pedagogy at University of Seville. At Finnova, he works as a Projects Manager and Delegate of the Finnova branch office in Andalusia Region (Spain). Moreover, he is responsible for the monitoring of Interreg projects and follow-up Interreg Programme actions.



Iñigo Bilbao 

Head of Sector Smart Cities


With a degree in Architecture (Basque Country University) and a Master’s in Public Administration (IESE-University of Navarra), Iñigo has been working for the City Council of Vitoria-Gasteiz, the European Green Capital 2012, for 20 years being involved in urban planning and many strategic projects. As a European expert, he has participated in many different international programmes led by the European Commission. He can offer great enthusiasm together with a strong ability in helping cities design integrated strategies and action plans for smart and sustainable urban development and in sharing their best practices within the H2020 framework.

Alberto Navarro

Head of Sector Youth and Employment

Alberto Navarro

Trilingual (English, Spanish and Catalan), he was born in Valencia. He holds a degree in Pedagogy and a Master in Policy, Management and Direction of Educational Organizations from the University of Valencia. During his university studies, he gained professional experience in Belgium, working in many schools and universities. With a keen interest in entrepreneurship education, Alberto is responsible of education and youth projects. He also works with the rest of the team in looking for funding related projects.


Tara Fehling

Head of Sector Horizon 2020 SME Instrument


Quadrilingual, with degree in Biology at Universidad Autónoma del Estado de Morelos (México), and degree at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid as “Expert in the promotion and management of international projects and actions within the I+D+Ii Plan” related to the European Framework (2014-2020): Horizon 2020. Since 2013, she is managing european projects (from CIP-Eco-innovation programmes and LIFE), as well as coordinating and drafting proposals for the Horizon 2020 (specialization in Pyme Tools).

Adrián Noheda

Project Officer European Projects

Valencia, 1987. BSc in Environmental Science and MSc in Environmental pollution and toxicology from the University of Valencia. He has international experience in Finland, Malta and Belgium, working for several waste management companies and as environmental consultant. Adrián, based in Valencia, is responsible for drafting proposal for Horizon 2020.


Catalina Valencia

Communications Officer


Social Communication- journalist specialized in social media and marketing. Experienced in Public Relations, organization of events and dinamization of interest communities focused on the collaboration, as the coworking Wayco, OuiShare Valencia and Social Media Lovers. Selected amongst 15,000 youngs around the world to represent Spain in the Summer School of the Civilizations Alliance in New York. Beneficiary from “La Dipu te Eurobeca”, high performance programme from the Diputación de Valencia in Brussels, in Communication of Innovation adn Support to Enterpreneurship for the Foundation Finnova. Award to the more active twitter user within the No More Suit Vite Awards 2015, the biggest enterpreneurship event held in Valencia.

Raquel Castán 

Environmental Communications Manager


Multimedia journalist, specialized in environment and European affairs. After 4 years dealing with dissemination activities for the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment in Spain (Madrid), she focused her career as journalist on European affairs and audio-visual production in 2013. Since then she has written more than 2.000 articles and produced more than 100 videos for Radio Co-op (Vancouver), News Agency EFE (Brussels), Executive Agency for SMEs of the European Commission (Brussels), the Green Week 2015 and the European Sustainable Energy Week 2015 (Brussels), Alice Production (Brussels) and Finnova (Brussels). Experienced in external and internal communications, storytelling, social media, film-making and video editing, television and radio production, and communication strategies for European Projects in English, Spanish and French, she has also participated as speaker in workshops about Communication and Dissemination Strategies in Madrid and Brussels. Currently she is leading the communication and dissemination activities of NOBEL GRID project (funded by the Horizon 2020 Programme).
